WHEN SATURDAY COMES
This is widely regarded as the
fanzine which popularised the whole of the fanzine movement in the
late 1980's. It is not dedicated to any specific football club, and
is able to poke fun at everybody. There were fanzines around before
that date, but WSC set a standard to follow. As can be seen from the
images, there was a point where WSC crossed the "forbidden
line" between a fanzine and a fully commercialized magazine,
however in later issues there are still some of the raw articles, and
they do maintain their links with other existing fanzines.
